Jeff Brill

Jeff's practice concentrates on patent portfolio development and strategic intellectual property management in the software arts. He has extensive experience in the procurement of patents protecting complex software products. In addition to patent strategy and prosecution, Jeff has experience performing intellectual property and technical analysis for patent, copyright and trade secret litigation involving a wide range of software technologies.

Prior to joining Glenn Patent Group, Jeff was with the law firms of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal and Fenwick & West. Before attending law school Jeff worked for over six years as a computer programmer, developing commercial software for a variety of companies. His areas of technical expertise include serial communications, client-server applications, networking, operating system internals, computer security and complex data analysis.
